The Basic Switch from Small System Services, Inc. is a board that allows two complete sets of ROMs to be installed in a PET 2001 and selected by a switch. It allowed a user to upgrade a machine from BASIC 1 to BASIC 2 while retaining the ability to run old BASIC 1 programs.
