CBM HSG Graphics Board

  • The HSG (“High Speed Graphik”) board is an expansion produced by Commodore Germany. It installs internally into PET/CBM machines with 12″ monitors and adds bitmap graphics capability.

    Documentation

    Manual (German) – This is the original manual from Commodore Germany in the German language. The source of the scans is unknown but I’ve cleaned up the pages quite a bit in this copy.

    Manual (English) – I’ve translated the Commodore manual into an English language version. It has the same layout and content as the original. Work in Progress.

    Thomson EF936x Datasheet – This is the full datasheet for the EF9365 and EF9366 graphic processors that are supported by the HSG board.
