Aprotek Minimodem-C24

  • The Aprotek Minimodem-C24 is a 2400 baud modem that plugs directly into the user port of Commodore computers such as the Commodore 64 and 128.

    Features

Most modems that were made to directly connect to the user port were 300 or 1200 baud and had no status indicator LEDs. The Minimodem-C24 is unlike most others because it is a 2400 baud modem with a complete set of status indicators.

Like other Aprotek products, it is housed in a compact plastic case that is easily opened. A telephone cord with an RJ-11 connector is permanently attached. Inside the unit, a jumper selects whether the modem responds to AT-commands like a Hayes compatible or like a Commodore 1670.
